ARTŪRAS ANTANAS SKUČAS is an architect, born in 1961 in Vilnius, going for photography, literature and other arts since young age. He had studied various arts – painting, sculpture, theatre, cinema.
He published his first verses still being at secondary school and, after many years, issued two poetry books: Kai Ateina Diena in 2005 and Einu (The Roadling) in 2006. The second book is translated into English. Currently he is working on his third poetry book.

The Day Met Itself
In 2006 he had arranged his photo exhibition at the Lithuanian Writers Union gallery, in 2007/2008 – exhibitions in Kaunas and Klaipėda towns, in 2008 international exhibition in Sweden (Gothland).2009 in Lithuanian Parliament Galery, 2010 in Romania. These still are open.

The choice of the public places by the author was not a coincidence, as he aimed to show his works to a more diverse public, not only to those who are especially interested in arts: to his opinion, the art in general should be as easily accessible, as the architecture.
